Vote opens on 20th to send two rookies straight to Golden Disc Awards stage

Global K-pop fans to choose rookies for the 41st Golden Disc Awards stage

Global K-pop fans will be able to vote from the 20th to the 25th to decide which two rookie groups win direct places on the stage at the 41st Golden Disc Awards. The K-pop fandom platform Choeaedol is partnering with the Golden Disc Awards to run the official 'Golden Choice' vote during that period. It is a fan-participation event in which global K-pop fans choose the rookies they support and send them to a major awards-show stage.

The nominees are five acts who were introduced through the Golden Disc original content series 'Golden Choice', one group each month from May through September this year. NAZE, The Wind, AHOF, AEN, HEART OF WOMAN drew notice from fans through a range of content, including random-play dance segments and performances of new songs, showcasing a variety of charms.

When the final votes are counted, the two groups with the most hearts — the first- and second-placed acts — will win official slots on the 41st Golden Disc Awards stage. Because fans could see, in person, the rookies they had first encountered through online content perform on a major awards-show stage, strong voting interest is expected.

How to vote and important notes

Voting runs from 00:00 on the 20th to 23:30 on the 25th, Korean Standard Time (KST). Fans who wish to participate should follow the steps and notes below to cast their vote.

• Participation method: Sign up for and log in to the Choeaedol app, then open the app's 'Heart Pick' menu and go to the 'Golden Choice' voting page to select the group you wish to support

• Voting target: Hearts must be cast for the 'group candidates' registered in the 'Golden Choice' vote (hearts sent to members' individual accounts will not be added to the group's total)

Organisers urged, "You must cast hearts for the 'group candidates' registered in the 'Golden Choice' vote, and hearts sent to members' individual accounts will not be counted."
