Voting Opens Oct. 20 for 2 Rookie Acts to Perform at 41st Golden Disc Awards

Global fans to pick rookie acts that will perform at the 41st Golden Disc Awards

Voting opens on the 20th to decide which two rookie acts will perform at the 41st Golden Disc Awards. K-pop fandom platform CHOEAEDOL, in collaboration with the Golden Disc Awards, will hold the official 'Golden Choice' vote from the 20th through the 25th, giving rookie artists a chance to perform at the awards ceremony. The event lets global K-pop fans choose the rookie acts they want to see on a major awards-show stage.

The candidates are the five teams introduced, one per month from May through September this year, in Golden Disc's original content series 'Golden Choice.' The five nominees are NAZE, The Wind, AHOF, AEN and HEART OF WOMAN. They previously showed off their appeal through content such as random-play dance videos and new-song performances, making strong impressions on fans.

Based on the final results, the groups that receive the most hearts—first and second place—will earn spots to perform officially on the 41st Golden Disc Awards stage. The prize is likely to spur intense voting from fans, who first encountered the rookies' energy in online content and now want to see them perform live at a major awards ceremony.

How to participate and important notes

Voting runs Korea Standard Time from 12:00 a.m. on the 20th to 11:30 p.m. on the 25th. Fans who wish to participate can follow the steps and precautions below to cast their votes.
