TWICE became the first K-pop girl group to win at the American Music Awards, marking a milestone at one of the three major U.S. music awards shows.

At this year's AMAs in Las Vegas on May 25 local time, TWICE won the 'Best Female K-Pop Artist' category.

The win is particularly significant because the AMAs, along with the Grammy Awards and the Billboard Music Awards, are considered one of the three major honors in U.S. pop music. Buoyed by overwhelming support from fans worldwide, the group has once again demonstrated its enduring global influence in its 12th year since debut.

After successful stops in Lisbon, Paris and Berlin, the group will bring its European tour to a close with concerts in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on the 30th and 31st.
