Evan Heads to 2026 TIMA Just One Month After Debut Amid Global Surge

Debut single tops Greater China charts as he plays venues from the Grammy Museum to KCON, signaling an expanded global push in the second half of the year.

Rookie solo artist Evan will take the stage at a major Greater China music awards show just one month after debuting, extending a rapid global rise.

BELIFT LAB said Evan has confirmed his attendance at the "2026 TME Live International Music Awards," or 2026 TIMA, set for Aug. 23 at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium. Hosted by Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME), China’s largest music streaming company, the awards show will place Evan on the main stage on its second day.

The invitation follows Evan’s unusual early success in the Greater China market. His debut single "RIDE OR DIE," released on the 22nd of last month, climbed to No. 1 on Tencent Music’s weekly Korea chart and No. 3 on QQ Music’s weekly Korea chart immediately after release, proving exceptional buzz for a rookie. The performance is likely to leave a strong impression on local fans.

Evan’s momentum extends to the United States and South Korea. After successfully completing his performance at the "2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer" on Aug. 9, he will appear on the Grammy Museum’s special program "Spotlight" on Aug. 14. On Aug. 16 he will perform at KCON LA 2026, North America’s largest K-culture festival, and he is also listed on the lineup for South Korea’s major music festival NOL FESTIVAL on Oct. 18, marking a packed schedule for the coming months.

Offstage, Evan continues to engage the public with a friendly image that contrasts with his onstage charisma. He will serve as the special DJ on MBC FM4U’s "Close Friends (Chinhan Chingu Bangsongban)" on Aug. 14 and 15, taking on hosting duties for the two-day stint. Global K-pop fans are increasingly focused on his next moves as his activities broaden just after debut.
