Solo artist Evan (EVAN) will take the stage at a major Greater China music awards show just a month after his debut, extending the rookie's rapid international rise.

Belift Lab said Evan had confirmed his appearance at the '2026 TME Live International Music Awards', or 2026 TIMA, at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium on 23 August. Hosted by Tencent Music Entertainment Group, China’s biggest music platform, the awards show is expected to see him deliver a distinctive performance on the main stage on the second day.

His debut single, 'RIDE OR DIE(Raideu Eo Dai)', released on the 22nd of last month, immediately topped Tencent Music’s weekly Korea chart and reached number three on QQ Music’s weekly Korea chart. The appearance is expected to make a strong impression on local fans.

His momentum extends beyond Greater China to the United States and South Korea. After performing on the '2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer' stage on 9 August, Evan will appear on the Grammy Museum’s special programme 'Spotlight' on 14 August. He will perform at North America’s largest K-culture festival, 'KCON LA 2026', on 16 August, and is listed on the lineup for the major South Korean music festival 'NOL FESTIVAL' on 18 October, signalling a relentless, wide-ranging schedule.

Meanwhile, he remains approachable off stage as well as charismatic on it. Evan will serve as special DJ for MBC FM4U's 'Close Friends Broadcasting Club' on 14 and 15 August, as he takes on a presenting role for the programme. Active across the board since his debut, global K-pop fans are now watching Evan’s next steps closely.
