Girl band QWER — Chodan, Magenta, Hina and Siyeon — turned up the heat at one of Taiwan’s biggest music festivals, cementing its position as a next-generation global band.

QWER recently took the stage at Taipei Dome for the G!POP MUSIC FESTIVAL, delivering a commanding live set that won over the Taipei crowd. The members stood out in distinctive, sporty styling suited to the festival and filled the stage with their trademark breezy energy, driving excitement to a peak.

Their varied set drew an explosive response from the audience. They moved effortlessly from upbeat rock to more emotive band numbers, showing the breadth of their musical range. In particular, the intense instrumental work combined with delicate vocals prompted local fans to respond with loud shouts and cheers. The members also connected confidently with the crowd throughout, undeterred by the language barrier.

After proving their musical growth at major university festivals and large-scale music events in South Korea, QWER is now expanding in earnest on overseas stages, using this Taiwan performance as a springboard. With solid live ability and a distinctive concept, the band is rapidly drawing in a global fandom.
