From ‘monster rookies’ to global contenders… CORTIS sell out first‑anniversary Seoul dates

BigHit Music’s next‑generation boy band CORTIS — Martin, James, Ju-hun, Seong-hyun and Geon-ho — is staking a new claim in K‑pop, creating fresh history with powerful ticket demand and overwhelming album results, having sold out both Seoul anniversary dates and surpassed 3 million cumulative sales for its second mini‑album.

According to industry sources, CORTIS sold every seat for its Seoul dates on the ‘2026 CORTIS TOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY’ during the official fan club COER membership pre‑sale on 22 and 23 July.

Seoul shows to mark first anniversary, streamed live to fans worldwide via Weverse

The concerts, scheduled for 22 and 23 August at the Hwajeong Gymnasium, Korea University, Seongbuk‑gu, Seoul, mark a celebration of CORTIS's official debut on 18 August. The shows will commemorate the group's rapid growth over the past year alongside the global fandom that supported them from the start. An online live stream through the global fan community platform Weverse will also be provided simultaneously for fans unable to attend in person.

Their reach is extending beyond Asia to North America. As part of this tour, CORTIS will visit nine major cities worldwide through to September, including stops in South Korea, Los Angeles and New York in the United States, Toronto in Canada, and Tokyo and Osaka in Japan, staging a total of 14 large‑scale shows. Their July concert in Incheon also sold out, while tickets for the North American leg due to begin in August were snapped up shortly after sales began.

Crowned a 'triple million‑seller' as album and streaming charts surge

Alongside their concert success, CORTIS continue to set records on both album and digital charts. Their second mini‑album 'GREENGREEN', released in May, comfortably surpassed cumulative sales of 3 million copies on the Circle Chart, earning the group the title of 'triple million‑seller'. It is a highly unusual feat for a group in its first year since debut, and one that firmly underlines CORTIS’s status as BigHit Music’s next‑generation ace, following in the line of the label’s senior acts.

Their strength on global streaming platforms is equally pronounced. As of the 20th, the combined cumulative streams for the tracks on mini‑album 'GREENGREEN' exceeded 300 million on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. The performance points to the group’s strong musical grounding since debut and its distinctive stagecraft winning over listeners worldwide.

CORTIS are due to travel abroad to meet global fans immediately after the Seoul shows conclude. The industry is watching to see what records the group can break next at home and abroad.
