THEBLACKLABEL Launches Global Auditions to Find the Next Rosé and MEOVV

THEBLACKLABEL, home to Taeyang, Rosé and MEOVV, will hold large-scale auditions in 17 cities to discover the next generation of K-pop stars.

THEBLACKLABEL, the global entertainment company led by Teddy, is launching a worldwide search for the next generation of K-pop stars.

THEBLACKLABEL said on the 22nd it had opened applications for '2026 THEBLACKLABEL TOUR AUDITION PART 2.' THEBLACKLABEL was founded in 2016 by Teddy, who served as the main producer for Big Bang, 2NE1 and Blackpink. The label’s roster includes top-tier artists such as Big Bang’s Taeyang, Jeon So-mi, Zion.T and Blackpink’s Rosé, as well as many in-demand actors including Park Bo-gum and Lee Jong-won. The company recently once again demonstrated its production and planning capabilities with the successful debut of its first girl group, MEOVV.

Audition tour spans 17 cities, backed by joint venture with Thailand’s CP Group

This large-scale global audition is open to anyone born between 2009 and 2016, regardless of nationality or gender. Starting in August in Bangkok, Thailand, the event will hold large-scale on-site evaluations in 17 major cities — including Tokyo, Osaka, Toronto and Sydney — across the Americas, Asia and Oceania before concluding in Seoul.

Auditions in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, will be organized by 'THEBLACKSEA,' a joint venture established by THEBLACKLABEL and Thailand’s largest conglomerate, CP Group (Charoen Pokphand Group). The venture plans to actively leverage local infrastructure to carry out customized talent scouting tailored to each market.

Finalists will receive Teddy’s production support and world-class professional training

Those who emerge as final selectees after rigorous competition will be granted official trainee status with THEBLACKLABEL and will receive world-class professional training under Teddy and the label’s production team.
