JYP Rookie Girl Group OURBIRTHDAY Finalizes Seven-Member Lineup, Adds Shin Hye-won and Yu

OURBIRTHDAY, the rookie girl group launched by JYP Entertainment's new label INNIT Entertainment, has finalized its seven-member debut lineup and formally entered the K-pop scene.

In a surprise move on the 28th, INNIT Entertainment released individual and unit teaser images for the pre-debut single "HUNGRY (Side B)" across its official social media channels. The promotion unveiled members Guk Cho-rok, Shin Hye-won, Yu, and Kirara, and with previously released teasers for Jo Hye-jin, Baby, and Achiraya, the full seven-member lineup has finally taken clear shape.

Four newly revealed members showcase distinct strengths

In the newly released teasers each member presented a distinct image: Guk Cho-rok struck a confident pose with a ponytail; Shin Hye-won exuded chic charisma with an intense gaze; Yu drew attention with a kitschy charm and distinctive blonde hair; and Kirara displayed a sophisticated, urbane visual. The unit photos emphasized perfect synergy and delivered a strong visual punch.

Several members of OURBIRTHDAY proved their abilities on audition programs, heightening expectations among the global K-pop fandom.

• Shin Hye-won: She appeared on JTBC's "R U Next?" and proved herself as an all-rounder with outstanding capabilities, demonstrating strong fundamentals and versatility as a performer.

• Yu: After appearing on SBS's "Universe Ticket," Yu most recently finished 3rd on KBS 2TV's "The Danttara," a program led by Park Jin-young, a result that fully validated her star potential.

JYP Entertainment, which solidified its reputation with successful girl groups including Wonder Girls, miss A, TWICE, ITZY and NMIXX, is drawing attention as it debuts a new act through its subsidiary label.

Park Jin-young, JYP's head producer, has also backed the group. He recently appeared on MBC's variety show "Omniscient Interfering View," where candid conversations with OURBIRTHDAY's members generated buzz and underscored his support for the group.

Even before an official debut, OURBIRTHDAY has been attracting attention and demonstrating its skills. The group is expected to accelerate its full-scale debut project by releasing a series of promotional materials in sequence as it moves forward with preparations for an official debut.
