The group BTS has remained in the top ranks of the US Billboard charts for six consecutive weeks, cementing a sustained run of success. The explosive enthusiasm for their North American tour has translated into a resurgence on the charts, further underscoring their global standing.

According to the latest charts published by US music outlet Billboard (dated 9 May), BTS's fifth studio album 'ARIRANG' title track 'SWIM' ranked No.2 on both the 'Global (Excluding US)' and the 'Global 200' charts. Notably, on the 'Global 200' it climbed back up the chart compared with the previous week. All 13 tracks from the album also entered both charts for six consecutive weeks, an unprecedented achievement.

Their dominance on Billboard's main charts remains solid. The album 'ARIRANG' rose to No.5 on the main albums chart, the 'Billboard 200', holding a top-five position for six weeks. The title track 'SWIM' also charted on the main singles chart, the 'Hot 100', at No.32, marking six consecutive weeks on the chart. This underscores BTS's broad public appeal.

Their impact across detailed US metrics is also notable. 'ARIRANG' ranked No.4 on 'Top Album Sales' and No.5 on 'Vinyl Albums', while 'SWIM' maintained solid positions on traditionally hard-to-crack US radio charts such as 'Pop Airplay' (No.12) and 'Radio Songs' (No.24). The surprise re-entry of 'Pied Piper' at No.9 on 'World Digital Song Sales' immediately after the Tampa show demonstrates the powerful boost from the world tour.

North America is currently awash in the group's signature purple. Some 100,000 fans attended the El Paso Sun Bowl Stadium shows on the 2nd and 3rd. The city of El Paso lit its landmark 'Star on the Mountain' purple as a wholehearted welcome. After performing 31 shows across 12 North American cities, BTS will continue the tour's momentum at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on the 7th.
