BTS has maintained top-tier positions on the US Billboard charts for six consecutive weeks, setting the stage for a sustained run. The explosive enthusiasm from their North American tour has translated into a rebound on the charts, once again underscoring their global standing.

According to the latest charts (May 9) released by US music outlet Billboard, the title track 'SWIM' from BTS's fifth studio album 'Arirang (ARIRANG)' ranked No. 2 on both the 'Global (excl. US)' and 'Global 200' charts. Notably, it rose on the 'Global 200' compared with the previous week. Remarkably, all 13 tracks from the album have appeared on both charts for six straight weeks.

Their presence on Billboard's main charts remains strong. The album 'Arirang' rose to No. 5 on the main album chart, the 'Billboard 200,' holding a Top 5 position for six weeks. The title track 'SWIM' also secured a spot on the main singles chart, the 'Hot 100,' at No. 32, marking six consecutive weeks on that chart. This underscores BTS's solid mainstream recognition.

Their impact across US-specific metrics is also notable. 'Arirang' ranked No. 4 on 'Top Album Sales' and No. 5 on 'Vinyl Albums,' while 'SWIM' maintained strong showings on traditionally conservative US radio metrics—No. 12 on 'Pop Airplay' and No. 24 on 'Radio Songs.' The surprise re-entry of 'Pied Piper' at No. 9 on 'World Digital Song Sales' immediately after the Tampa performance demonstrates the tour's powerful synergy.

North America is currently awash in BTS's signature purple. Approximately 100,000 fans gathered for the Sun Bowl Stadium shows in El Paso on May 2 and 3. The city of El Paso lit its landmark 'Star on the Mountain' purple as a gesture of enthusiastic welcome. Having performed 31 shows across 12 North American cities, BTS will continue the tour on May 7 at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City.
